OUR STORY

In 2018, Patty Khorshidian RN MSN founded Monarch Cosmetic MD with Co-Owner Edmond. A Zingaro, MD.

We built this company so that we could do what we love: provide patients the highest quality expert knowledge in a luxurious environment. We want our patients to feel like this is their special time to treat themselves and we aim to put that love and quality of attention into everything from procedures to copywriting on our website ;)

Meet the Team

We are small but mighty, having a combined 40+ years of experience in providing expert treatment with state-of-the-art technology and a warm human touch.

Certified by the California Board of Registered Nursing and a proud member of the Dermatology Nurses Academy, Patty has been a trusted provider of dermatology, vascular, and aesthetic laser treatments since 1980. Over the years, she has treated more than 3,700 patients annually, ensuring the highest standards of care.

With over 38 years of experience in healthcare, Patty Khorshidian has proven herself as a distinguished expert in the field of medical aesthetics. Her journey began in various medical settings, including Medical-Surgical, Dermatology, and Vein & Vascular clinics, before she discovered her true passion—helping clients achieve confidence through aesthetic treatments.

Patty Khorshidian RN, MSN

Following a successful career at Kaiser Cosmetic Services spanning over 30 years, Patty embarked on a new chapter in 2018, founding her own Aesthetic Medical SPA with renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Edmond Zingaro as Medical Director. This venture has allowed her to continue offering top-tier aesthetic and medical dermatology services, specializing in fillers, neurotoxin procedures, sclerotherapy, and a wide range of cutting-edge laser treatments, including Fraxel resurfacing, VBeam Perfecta, Morpheus8, CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, CO2 Laser Cutera, and Hollywood Spectra “Tattoo& Melasma treatment.
Dedicated, passionate, and committed to excellence, Patty ensures each client receives personalized treatments that enhance their beauty and confidence. Beyond her hands-on work, she also supervises SPA aesthetician services, fostering a team of professionals who share her vision for quality and innovation in aesthetic medicine

Edmond A. Zingaro, MD

Dr. Zingaro is educated in both the United States and Europe. He completed a five-year residency in general surgery with a year as a chief resident at Nassau University Medical Center (State University of New York). He went on to complete a three-year residency in plastic surgery, with a year as chief resident at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco under program director Dr. Mark Gorney.

Dr. Zingaro received extensive training in all aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery with Dr. Gorney, Dr. Edward Falces, and all of San Francisco’s finest plastic surgeons. He is also very well trained in hand surgery by Drs. Eugene Kilgore and William Newmeyer; and in microsurgery by Dr. Harry Buncke. He joined Drs. Gorney and Falces in practice and, upon their retirement, took over the Plastic Surgery Medical Group practice in San Francisco. Dr. Zingaro is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the prestigious San Francisco Surgical Society.
On a personal level, Dr. Zingaro is a musician. He studied piano with a private instructor for ten years. He went on to gain proficiency in several other musical instruments. Currently, he performs periodically with local musicians. In addition to live performance, he has a professional recording studio in his home where he has become a skilled recording engineer and music producer.

Katya Nemolyaeva

Katya acquired her Esthetician license in 2023. Her unique fusion of being a nursing student and a skin health specialist provides her with valuable insights into a wide range of conditions and concerns. Katya takes pride in what she does; putting her whole heart into the care of our patients ensuring result driven treatments. Her passion for embracing natural beauty is reflected in her mindful approach to treating every individual with a customized protocol.

When she steps out of her scrubs Katya loves exploring nature, new recipes, and quality time with family & friends. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and is working toward her dream of becoming a nurse aesthetician.

Anji Afrigan

Anji is a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) who began her journey at Monarch after receiving her MA. Anji's passion lies in helping people feel happy and cared for. Her skills include Microblading, Ultherapy, DiamondGlow, Hydrafacial, Chemical Peels, and PRP treatments, backed by a Morpheus8 certificate. Beyond work, Anji is a devoted mom of three, a loving wife, and a family biking enthusiast. She enjoys movies (horror and true crime!), travel, and cooking Persian cuisine when there is time. Anji's diverse interests mirror her vibrant personality.
